Introduction to Generative AI

(1) Outline of the course

 AI technology has been evolving at an astonishing speed in recent years, affecting every aspect of our lives. You may have heard of “Stable Diffusion” or “ChatGPT,” but what exactly is “deep learning” behind them? In this course, we will explore the world of deep learning together and have fun while learning about the world of AI through actual demonstrations.

(2) Contents of each session

Session 1: Image Generation 11/15

In this lecture, participants will learn about the history of image generation AI, including Stable Diffusion, as well as an overview of the latest method, the diffusion model. In the latter half of the session, participants will actually try Stable Diffusion and experience how images are generated.

Session 2: Natural Language Processing 11/29

Students will learn about natural language processing including ChatGPT, an overview of natural language generation in deep learning. In the latter half of the session, participants will experience actual language generation using GPT-2.

Session 3 Introduction to Prompt 12/6

Prompting skills are necessary to actually handle generative AI. We will introduce a comprehensive collection of tips to improve your prompting ability. In addition, participants will experience the importance of prompting using ChatGPT.
