(1) Course Outline
In recent years, AI-based startups such as Google and Amazon have created a very large impact. As AI and other technologies are expected to change society in the future, we are entering an era of “AI entrepreneurship” that includes not only learning about technology but also its implementation in society. This course is an introduction to AI entrepreneurship, in which participants will listen to stories of successful AI entrepreneurs and student entrepreneurs, and discuss what kind of business opportunities exist by utilizing AI in group work. Although time is limited, we hope to convey the fun of thinking about new business. You will learn what to keep in mind when starting a business, mistakes to avoid, etc.
(3) Content of each session
Basically, each session will provide an opportunity to talk in separate groups.
Session 1 Entrepreneur Lecture 1: “Getting Student Entrepreneurship Off the Ground” 10/11
Reina Yamamoto, President, Hupro Corporation (Keio Graduate)
President Yamamoto of Hupro, who started his business as a student and has been expanding it for the past 8 years, will be our guest to talk about how he got his business off the ground.
She has been selected as “Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2022”, “EY Winning Women 2021 Finalist”, etc.
Session 2: Recommendations for AI Entrepreneurship & Group Work (1) 10/18
Ryuichi Suzuki, President, OISSY Corporation (Keio Graduate)
Introduction of AI-based deep-tech startup OISSY’s business and its conception method. He explained how they are developing their business with taste sensor Leo at the core.
The last 30 minutes of the session will be used for group self-introductions to get a better understanding of the strengths of the team.
Session 3: Dialogue “Even students can make it this far! Group work (2) 10/25
Ms. Urara Takayama, Representative Director, Omotesite K.K. (Keio graduate, currently enrolled in the Graduate School of the University of Tokyo)

He will introduce his own activities as well as successful case studies of his most recent students.
The second half will be devoted to group work
