(1) Outline of the course
In this course, you will learn how AI technology is used in the business world from the lecturer who has a wealth of consulting experience, and furthermore, how to build a new business model using AI. The course is designed to develop a new AI-based business model through group discussions, while incorporating design thinking. No complicated mathematical formulas or programming knowledge is required; participants can experience how to start a new AI business by learning the concept and basics of AI and creating a hypothetical new AI business through group discussions. The group discussion will be held in person at Hiyoshi Campus.

(2) Content of each session
Basically, each session will provide an opportunity to talk in groups.
Session 1: November 15
Introduction to AI Learn the basics of AI fundamentals
Participants will learn about the reality of AI, which has been dramatically evolving in recent years, and how it works. You will also learn how to use them.
AI will surpass humans in the future,
The future of AI, which you are most concerned about, will also be explained.
Explanation of how to proceed with group work
We will divide the participants into groups and explain how we will proceed.
Session 2: November 29
AI Application Cases
Learn how AI is used in the fields of Big Data, image processing, and natural language processing.
Group work
Students will research business cases using AI in the world.
Session 3: 12/6
Design Thinking
Learn methods of design thinking and incorporate them into group work.
Group work
Each group will decide on a project theme.
Session 4 12/13
Business model presentation exercise (group work)
Groups discuss business models and prepare materials for the next week’s presentation.
Session 5: 12/20
Business model presentation
Each group will present the business model they have developed so far, and 3-4 external commentators will be invited to critique the presentation. The first three winners will be selected through a rigorous screening process,
The winning group will receive a grand prize. The winning group will receive a luxurious prize.
