AIC Cafe Event Held

On October 2, 2025, Keio AIC held its “AIC Cafe,” where participants could find out more about AIC and find like-minded peers to learn together.
This event is an updated version of the Fall Guidance event that is usually held at the beginning of each Fall Semester. At the AIC Cafe, the audience was given an introduction of the events held by AIC and learned about the workshops and corporate events it holds. The event also included a consultation session on learning AI and programming. With coffee and matcha lattes in hand, participants were able to enjoy socializing amidst a relaxed atmosphere.

Introduction to AIC

The first half of the event included an overview of AIC and an explanation on how to use the AIC Lounge, as well as a showcase of upcoming workshops and corporate events. Although it lasted only about 30 minutes, it was a great opportunity for participants to learn about AIC’s activities as a whole.

During the consultation session in the second half of the event, the tables were set up so that each one brought together six to seven participants and one AIC internship student for exchanges and consultation.
In addition, AIC held a food-tasting session with the cooperation of Eclipse Foods Japan, a company participating in the upcoming “1st AIC Challenge: Addressing Issues in Businesses.” Their ice cream is 100% plant-based, lending a sustainability element to the theme of the event.
Participants asked many questions, including on how to learn to use AI, how to learn to program, and how to utilize AIC. This not only helped them learn about AIC’s strengths and appeal, but also provided an opportunity for them to find new friends.

Summary

Through the AIC Cafe, we were able to showcase AIC’s strengths and how to leverage the organization.
AIC hopes that students will continue to actively engage with AIC to further their learning of AI and programming. The members here at AIC all look forward to welcoming more students to the workshops and corporate events held by the consortium.
