The “UiPath Event Participation Form: Automation Technology Acquisition Program to Tackle Social Issues – For Beginners to DX (Digital Transformation) Talent” was a 4-part program held as a collaboration between Keio AIC and UiPath every Thursday from 18:15 to 19:45 from October 13, 2022. The program aimed to help people learn the art of efficiency and become DX personnel using the RPA software UiPath. Approximately 30 participants joined the program, which was conducted in a hybrid format comprising online and in-person sessions.
The content of each session was as follows.
While learning what RPA is, participants performed actual basic operations. By the end of the first session, they were able to perform commonly used operations
They were also able to perform recording and data scraping using RPA.
Participants learned how to automate PC screen operations and Excel.
Basic programming knowledge such as data types of variables and conditional branching was applied to RPA to create more advanced WFs.
Participants learned how to do advanced automation like sending emails, error handling, and adding split WF activities. They also learned how to use the UiPath Orchestrator.
UiPath’s automation technology using RPA and AI, the operation of which was covered in this program, is a field that has been garnering significant attention in recent years as a form of technology that can eliminate inefficiencies and unproductiveness in working styles that is latent in our daily lives. It was a very valuable experience to be able to learn actual automation technology from scratch in this program.
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who was involved in the planning and organization of the program, as well as to all the participants who joined the program throughout the four weeks alongside their regular studies.
We would like to thank UiPath staff and many others for their tremendous support.
